This week students will:
- Find all factor pairs for whole numbers up to and including 50 to:
- Recognize that a whole number is a multiple of each of its factors.
- Determine whether a given whole number is a multiple of a given one-digit number.
- Determine if the number is prime or composite
Language Arts
Language Arts:
After testing on Poetry, Prose, and Drama, we will begin learning about the different type of Text Structures for Informational Text ( Cause and Effect, Problem/Solution, Description, Compare and Contrast, and Chronology). We will also learn how we can apply context clues to figure out the meaning of new words that may be unfamiliar to us!

Science and Social Studies
We are studying Science this week. We are comparing the composition and properties of matter before and after they undergo a change or interaction. We kicked off the lesson with identifying solids, liquids and gases around the room!
